Answer: The financial position of the Metro Fitness Centre over last five years, has depreciated. The leisure centres income, which is mainly generated through its shop income and the useage of the facilities, has decreased over a period of time. Since 1996 membership prices have increased and as a result of this happening it has caused a drop in the centres level of membership holders. This is partially due to our target audience not being able to afford the cost of joining our centre; realistically there has been consumer resistance to the increase in prices.
