Answer: Grouping pupils together in team sport activities has long been a method used by teachers to teach young pupils skills in Physical Education. This dissertation (Major Independent Study) aims to explore reasons why teachers teach team sports to young pupils and what measures teachers can take to ensure that the team sports delivered are as inclusive as possible for all.
There have been suggestions that Physical Education is taught for a purpose and also research which suggests that P.E. teachers are resistant to change....(short extract)
