Question: ‘It is obvious that morality is relative’ Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Answer: Morality, the principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour. Views can be interpreted that this is relative, the opinion that this morality will change dependant on culture, society and upbringing. However some may view morality as absolute. The opinion that views and opinions are shaped around set rules that won’t change dependant the situation. You can argue with strong points both for and against this point.
You could firstly argue for the opinion that ‘morality is absolute’. Morality is not based on individual or group preferences but rather on absolute or universal rules. This means that communication and understanding no matter what the native language of that person is allows communication because of set rules.
