Answer: This writing will attempt to illuminate Gregory’s and Gibson’s theories of visual perception reflect and gain clarity on them. Humans derive meaning from their environment, thought the use of their sense modality’s (the focus here is the eye). Light is reflected from objects into the eye through the lens projected onto the retina and transduced through cells in the back of the eye into neural activity, Signals in turn travel from the optic nerve to the visual cortex where visual perception occurs.
Sensations are the messages from senses, raw information that affect mental process and behavior (Bernstein Et al 2012).
