Question: Year 13 Personal Statement - Law

Used for QMUL, City, Greenwich and KCL. Got into City and Greenwich.

Answer: I wish to pursue a career in the legal profession because I have a curiosity for the law and consider it to be an intellectually challenging career path. I have had a long standing interest in the law, particularly in the concepts of fairness and justice within society. My personal attributes of being hard working, determined and motivated would enable me to do very well in the field of law.

It is the inherent variety within law that I am most attracted to. I also find the historical background of the English legal system fascinating and its effects on the development of the modern English system of law. I have had multiple visits to local courts, where I have sat in the public galleries of Redbridge and Greenwich courts to observe and accumulate knowledge on the way in which legal processes work.
