In this assignment I am going to outline the care services that are available to people with long term health conditions and explore the reasons as to why they should take into account the service users circumstances and sensitivities. There is a wide range of care services available in the community, gps surgeries, hospitals and people’s homes. There are trained professionals who specialise in certain conditions. Care services are growing, they once consisted of doctors, nurses and auxiliary but now there is much more available. Health care has changed, which could be due to biomedical science which creates new treatments and gives accurate and reliable models which shows how the body works and helps professionals to gain knowledge in the body not functioning correctly.
