Answer: There has never been so much information that is so readily available to anyone with computer access. The internet has revolutionised how we live and communicate to a great extent and when it comes to finding out about anything, we 'google' it. So it seems natural nowadays to look up information on the Internet when we have a health concern before even phoning the doctor for an appointment. While working on the K101 project as the Green team, we researched some of benefits and drawbacks that can be encountered while surfing the internet for care-related information. The focus of the project tasks was to review and analyse the quality of online information that is available to service users and carers.
