Answer: Performance management is the identification, management and improvement of theperformance of individuals within an organisation.
Although methods of performance management have changed considerably over the years, the practice itself has been around for perhaps as long as the concept of organisations itself.
This study reviews the work that has been previously carried out by other authors and offers a critical analysis of their findings.
