Answer: Emerging technological systems such as the illumina have displayed advances in analysis of several DNA aspects, its systems have shown faster and more accurate capabilities and with such technology the Genome project was able to revolutionise the way we view molecular biology. The innovations from such technological advances and how it has been used in genomic developmental schemes such as the genome project that has created the Encyclopaedia of DNA elements (ENCODE) and the influence of technology will be reviewed.
The completion of the genome project in 2003 could not have been possible without the involvement of technological advances in protein engineering, Fluorescent dye development, capillary electrophoresis, and automation.
