The aim for this internal assessment is to plan an investigation that explores the relationship between a countries economic development, population, quality of life and ecological footprint. Since human population raises and has reached seven billion, therefore the use of resources change, it is expected that Ecological Footprints also change. I hypothesize that the richer countries have much larger ecological footprints than poorer countries, which also means that the Gross domestic product per Capita will have a significant positive correlation with the Ecological Footprint in Global hectare per person. My hypothesis is proposed due to the phenomenon in rich developed countries, people consume more than they need in order to support their daily lifestyle.
