When planning improvements to a building, there are many ideas that we need to consider, such as the thermal effect on building and electrical &natural lighting system, which can save energy.

Thermal transmittance
Thermal transmittance (u-value) is a property of an element of a structure comprised of given thickness of material and is a measure of its ability to transmit heat under steady flow conditions.
