Answer: Introduction
Angular measurement is the operation to determine the horizontal and vertical angles of the chainage points. Surveys may be carried out without angular measurement. However, it may be extremely useful, particularly in saving time, to have a piece of equipment capable of being used to obtain angles in either/or both horizontal and vertical planes.
In this fieldwork, we are going to conduct a survey of a small area by applying an angular measurement technique and collect data from measuring the angles of chainage points of the survey portion through the Total Station. The scope of work of the fieldwork is to measure the Easting and Northing Co-ordinates, Slope Distance, Horizontal Distance, Vertical and Horizontal Angle for each point given on site. Since the area bounded by the line joining the points can be found.
