Question: How far have the changes that have taken place in the UK over the last 50 years been shaped by structural factors outside the agency of individuals or groups of people? Illustrate your answer from at least three blocks of DD100.
Answer: This essay will discuss the tension between structure and agency in effecting changes in the UK during the last 50 years and whether individuals or groups have exercised any agency in the production of these changes. A conclusion as to the extent of structure and or agency as a causal factor will be drawn from evidence in support of or against either.
