Quantitative factors: these are measurable in financial terms and will have a direct impact on either the costs of a site or the revenues from it and its profitability
• Site and other capital costs such as building or shop-fitting costs – Company should consider expenses that could be incurred during the purchase and installation of machineries. They should also note the cost of resources that they would require for their production such as water, electricity and other materials
• Labour costs – One of the major expenses that a company will incur if they set up their factories/production units in developed countries is the labour cost. This is also one of the major reasons which forces companies to relocate to other third world countries in search of cheap labour costs
