This essay will explore and explain the design of the Renault Centre – Swindon. It was designed by Sir Norman Foster in 1980. At the beginning this piece of writing will concentrate on the technical side and design of this building. Then it will investigate how and why the building was designed as it was. It will review different concept ideas and the design process that Foster went through to arrive at his final design.
The Renault Centre is a highly technical structure and during this essay various comparisons will be drawn between it and other buildings of its time.
