Answer: Unit three Psychology, shows us that psychology experiments are used a lot to provide a way to learn about an individual thought process. (The Open University, 2016, Page 58) The Unit has three ways of organising and forming thoughts from within an individual these are:-
• Mental images- Linking a picture to a word
• Concept formation – Putting thoughts into categories
• Schemas

Schemas are where I want to expand the explanation on as these sway the way we see our social world. A schema helps us form opinions on individuals by drawing our attention to the information that could or is compatible to our own schema. (The Open University, 2016, Page 64) A schema can be broken into three sections within our social world and they direct our attention to the things we value in another person. These are
