Question: THE USE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY AS A TOOL FOR TEACHING CHRISTIANITY IN YEAR 6 (Dissertation)

Answer: This research project endeavors to analyse the use of information and communications technology (ICT) as a tool for teaching religious education (RE) in the primary classroom. It offers an evaluation of how ICT can support and enhance learning in RE; the range of ICT applications available for teaching RE are carefully examined and the potential impact of ICT on the promotion of pupils’ motivation and enthusiasm towards RE is identified. The project also attempts to identify the barriers associated with the use of ICT by teachers to support and enhance their teaching of RE.
