Question: To what extent does a ban on hunting with dogs infringe anybody’s rights?

Answer: The United Kingdom government has proposed to ban hunting with dogs for the last few years. However it has come under extreme opposition, mainly from activists of the Hunt tradition and human and animal rights supporters. The government must decide whether or not hunting is cruel to animals and whether or not this outweighs the rights given to individuals.

There are many questions that can be evaluated in this type of essay, however the main question that needs to be answered and then analysed is whose rights are going to be exactly affected by a ban on hunting? The answer to this can be divided into four parts, landowners, participators in hunting, animal right supporters and the animals themselves. The answer to such questions will be analysed and evaluated throughout this essay....(short extract)
