Answer: Question 2 - This essay is going to look at a biopsychosocial approach to mental health and some of the processes that are involved in making a diagnosis. A biopsychosocial approach in short looks at biological, psychological and social factors and how they play a role in mental health, when one of these factors gets interrupted the other two may be impacted. There are several processes that are involved when it comes to diagnosing an individual beginning with a psychological assessment where signs and symptoms will be evaluated to identify the problem. Then finish by putting it all together to come up with a treatment plan (Martins-Maurao, 2013, pg.119).
