Answer: 1.1 As a leader and manager in a nursing home, it is my responsibility that everyone will have equal opportunity to develop their potential according to their job role. Due to individual difference everyone has a unique talent and different character, I must to be aware and developed the knowledge, understanding of treating people on away that suite them, there should not be any discrimination in terms of promotion, professional development, and treatment. I understand that equality is a means of giving people equal opportunity to enjoy the services, follow practice without favouritism. Working with people from different background, it is my responsibility as a manager to know the people choice and preference to provide services, follow evidence base practice that are free from unlawful and unfair discrimination.
