Answer: Skills Audit Step One - In the forward of his book “The Power of Leadership” John C. Maxwell states that you should be “big enough to admit mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.” This is the essence of reflective practice. To take a class of 25 individuals, with individual needs, preferences, learning styles, motivations, backgrounds, abilities and interests, and then deliver a learning experience conducive to each of those individuals will require a high degree of adaptability. It is important to be sure that any adaption is beneficial, and there may not be sufficient time or resources to evaluate this within the classroom. The reflective practitioner will therefore set aside time and resources to consider appropriate strategies.
