The pros being include the fact that it can be described as an achievement of maintained physical fitness and mental stability, due to the increase of self-esteem through exercise, diet and selfcare. The cons about health and well-being are that the absence of drive to improve it can lead to physical illness, disease and mental distress. A holistic way of thinking about health and well-being is the result of a combination of social, physical, emotional and intellectual factors.

Neighbourhood health activities help people in a community to socialise with others and be an active member of the community.
