Answer: Outcome 1.2 - My work place have policies and procedures in place for all staff to adhere to, these do not have the force of law but are enforceable with in social care are in place to improve the quality of care that individuals receive, each part of the country have a body that inspect all social care facilities to ensure they are complying with national minimum standards, the CQC do inspections and question all staff to ensure that these policies and procedures as well as the legal legislation are being followed and that there is no discrimination, these policies and procedures and legislation apply to colleagues and individuals that use our service, there for it is a part of my every day work role as I work with colleagues of different origin and have in the past worked with colleagues of different religious beliefs as well as provide a service for a wide variety of service users and...(short extract)
