Answer: 1.4 Firstly I hope I am always sensitive to the reactions and opinions of pupils and colleagues on a daily basis and alter practice/continue with what is working. (1.1 – 1.3) I have a TA mentor within the school, however (without meaning to sound critical) workload has dictated we have not sat and chatted ‘officially’ as of yet.
I deliver both Numicon and reading intervention to 4 children of very different levels of ability, retention of information and concentration. One child is dyslexic, one has Di George syndrome and one has (in my opinion) huge anxiety issues because of home life as well as academic struggles. The last child is almost at the point of not needing the intervention as he completes the tasks much more quickly.
These resources both use and follow specific, step by step methods and outcomes aiming to support KS2 curriculum. I work the latter half of the week....(short extract)
