Answer: 1.1 The Syer and Connolly (1996) Cycle of developing teamwork skills, is described as ‘team system’ which means that all of the people involved are aiming to achieve the same outcome. The idea that all team members need to be not only self-aware but have an awareness of the rest of the team, of everyone’s strength and weakness, whether they communicate efficiently and if they are a forcible team player or more quiet. Understanding how someone works in part of team will help the team develop and work together, once you have identified each other’s strengths and weaknesses this can be used to be strengthening the team, which in turn will make meeting goals easier and work more proactive.
