Answer: Physical Development: Changes to body and physical skills through various stages from infant to adulthood:- As a baby’s development progresses, new skills are learnt. These enable the baby to become involved in more activities and explore their world and promote cognitive development.
Emotional Development: is the process of a child developing an understanding, and controlling of their own emotions and learning how to express and control emotions that they show to others. Research has been stimulated by Bowlby’s theory (1907 - 1990) of attachment. I have recognised that the majority of the young people that I work with have been separated from their parents/carers and have been looked after by numerous numbers of staff which has had a significant effect on their behaviour and their ability to build and maintain relationships.
