Answer: 1.1 Continuous professional development means that an individual continuously re appraises and develops their skills and knowledge to maximise potential throughout their career.

If staff adopt this process they will be more likely to be forward thinkers, staying with the employer and giving the organisation a good name as a service provider and employer.

Things change very quickly within the care sector and it is imperative to remain up to date with new laws and legislation’s. Part of my role as registered manager means I am responsible for my staff teams training. I must make sure they have been trained in all aspects of their job role, making sure they deliver quality person centred care to my service users.
