Answer: Adolescence is the period of social, biological, psychological and sexual development after childhood that begins with puberty. It is a decisive intermediate period, whose duration varies depending on the sources.
Different specialists in the field, define adolescence as a period of changes, and changes normally bring confusion. Some argued that is always a period of ‘storm and stress’. Although others gave more importance in the fact that adolescence depend also to the environmental influences. This essay will review some theories about it, what factors and how they affect, the cognitive, moral and social in adolescence development. Through expose different theories, I would like to share my conclusions about it, even taking into account stress factors that exist in today's society.
