Answer: Inequality is a concept to describe the differing opportunities given to people with a variant of economic and social value such as access to education, money and cultural facilities. The distribution of these can seem uneven to certain social groups or people.

The Food Bank
Some people on City Road can afford to shop in the higher end retailers and some are not able to support themselves or their family financially, meaning they need to access the food bank.
This is an example of economic inequality. One of the reasons causing this is differing levels of income. Due to this lack of income it also limits their choice of food and lifestyle they wish to lead. People who use the food bank are using the service out of necessity where as others who have more financial freedom have choices on their lifestyle.
