Answer: TMA 01 Part A Table 1 is titled ‘Spread of different types of wealth between different types of household in Great Britain in 2010 – 2012’.
The table demonstrates how different types of wealth such as Property, Financial, Physical and Pension wealth is distributed between households in Great Britain. The table shows the information in £ million per 10% of households and is presented in order from the 10% of the poorest households to 10% of the wealthiest.
The first noticeable fact is that the poorest 10% of households do not hold any wealth in terms of Property and Financial wealth, in fact the numbers shown are negative and demonstrate that the poorest 10% of households are in debt by as much as over 16,000 million pounds.
The second poorest 10% of households are still indebted by 1,420 million pounds in terms of financial wealth.
