When a child receives a bump to the head the first procedure to be taken place is to check the child’s level of response and get a cold compress to reduce any swelling that may appear. Ensure that the accident is recorded and the parents are informed at the end of the day and explain how you went about to reduce the swelling. Keep an eye on the child for the rest of the day and make sure they are ok and give lots of care.
When a child has an asthma attack the procedure to be taken out is to get their blue inhaler, sit the child forward with comfort then gives them medication after three minutes and repeat after another three minutes.
