Answer: 1.1.3 Adolescence can be hard for young people as there are a lot of physical and emotional changes. Moving towards their independence can be difficult for teenagers as they may struggle to find their own identity and what their outcome in life is within school, work, and relationships, they will be learning more about the world and trying to figure out where they belong in it. They will notice changes in their bodies and become more sexually aware. They may also be coming to terms with their own sexuality and what others may think if they chose a sexuality that isn’t the ‘norm’. They may begin to feel self-conscious if they think their own personal appearance isn’t good enough or they don’t look attractive to others.
