Answer: The aim of this reflective essay is to evaluate my strengths and weaknesses in academic work and practice since my journey began in September 2013. I will discuss strengths and weaknesses in terms of the input I have gained so far from theory as well as a short period of practice in my clinical area within my NHS placement trust hospital. I will begin by looking further into the concept of reflection. Reflection is a new concept to me professionally, and since my research on the subject began I have realised that unknowingly I use reflection regularly in my personal family life when parenting my children and dealing with everyday situations.
